Customer Service - Inside Sales Representative

ASI Group is seeking a Business-to-Business CUSTOMER SERVICE /INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE to work in our corporate headquarters in Yonkers.

We are seeking a friendly, positive, upbeat individual who will proactively:

• Service existing accounts, process orders, and respond promptly to customer inquiries
• Provide pricing and delivery information
• Plan and organize daily work schedule to call on existing or potential customers
• Organize workflow to meet customer timeframes
• Provide outstanding customer service support to better service customers and improve business performance
• Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, and routing requests and unresolved issues to the appropriate source
• Maintain broad knowledge of products and services
• Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle product and service inquiries
• Participate in meetings and activities to improve customer satisfaction and business performance
• Assist in developing and maintaining long-term relationships with customers to promote repeat business
• Communicate and coordinate with internal departments
• Other duties as assigned

In order to succeed, you will need:

• Prior BUSINESS TO BUSINESS Customer Service Experience is a MUST
• Computer literacy with the ability to learn and understand computer programs
• Knowledge of use and functions of general office equipment such as copiers, phones, and printers
• Excellent phone demeanor
• Command of the English language including reading, writing, and spelling

Compensation for this position will range from $20.00 to $22.00, based on the candidate's experience.
