What are the responsibilities and job description for the PTA position at Ashtabula Regional Medical Center?

Provides physical therapy treatment to assigned patients under the direction of the Physical Therapist in accordance with the agency policies and procedures and the physician care plan. Maintains timely communications with the supervising Physical Therapist and others involved in the care of the patient. Participates as a member of a patient-focused interdisciplinary care team.

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.

Minimum one year clinical experience as a licensed PTA in an acute, rehab or skilled nursing setting.

Current PTA licensure in the State of Ohio. Current BCLS provider status. Valid Ohio Driver’s license and current required auto liability insurance.
