MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

Required Length and Type of Experience
Minimum of two (2) years experience in healthcare is required. Wound, Hyperbaric, or critical care experience is preferred.
Required Licensure or Certification
Must be credentialed or licensed in the state where working.Current license oor certification is required on one of the following areas: 1. National Board of Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist 2. Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician 3. Practical Nurse (LPM/LVN) 4. Registered Nurse 5. Emergency Medical Technician 6. Certified Hyperbaric Technologist 7. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or equivalent 8. Surgical Technologist
Required Physical and Environmental Demands
The work environment is indoors, with adequate heating and cooling. There is a significant amount of equipment for patient care, as well as many supplies stored in the work environment. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move patients. Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk and hear. Occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and smell. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and color vision. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
GENERAL SUMMARY
Administer hyberbaric oxygen therapy and diagnostic testing to patients of the Department of Hyperbaric Medicine, under the supervision of a hyperbaric physician. All therapeutic and diagnostic modalities will be ordered by the hyperbaric physician.
