We are a person-centered, mission-driven organization supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) to lead care planning, oversee program implementation, and ensure compliance with ICF/IDD standards.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate individualized care plans (IHP/ISP), including assessments, goal setting, and progress monitoring.
Lead team meetings for admissions, program reviews, and discharges.
Supervise direct care staff and consultants to ensure quality active treatment and habilitation services.
Provide staff training on program implementation, documentation, and client support strategies.
Maintain accurate documentation including monthly summaries, quarterly reviews, and service notes.
Communicate regularly with families, guardians, agency representatives, and community service providers.
Ensure regulatory compliance with ODH, ICF/IDD, and agency policies.
Participate in committees such as Human Rights, Behavior Support, and Admissions.
Qualifications
College degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education, Nursing (RN), or related field.
Meets federal and state QIDP requirements for training and experience in the developmental disabilities field.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform job-related movements.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of ICF/IDD regulations and best practices.
Experience with behavioral supports, habilitation programs, and client advocacy.
Ability to work collaboratively across disciplines.
