Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Weekend Warrior Program
Ashtabula County Residential Services is seeking compassionate and dependable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our Weekend Warrior Program. These positions offer premium weekend pay, consistent scheduling, and the opportunity to support individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting.
Responsibilities

Provide hands‑on support with daily living skills, personal care, and hygiene

Assist individuals with meal preparation, medication reminders, and household tasks

Support community involvement, recreational activities, and skill‑building
-
Maintain a safe, respectful, and person‑centered environment

Document services, progress notes, and any required reports

Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Follow all agency policies, safety procedures, and training requirements
Available Schedules
Full‑Time Weekend Warrior – Night Shift

Friday–Sunday | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

$22.00 per hour
Part‑Time Weekend Warrior – Every Other Weekend

Saturday & Sunday | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Valid driver’s license preferred

Ability to pass background checks and required trainings

Reliable weekend availability

Ability to lift, bend, and assist with physical support as needed
