About the Position
Ashmore Construction is looking for an experienced Project Coordinator to support the successful execution of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate day-to-day project operations from project award through closeout
- Prepare and administer subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders
- Track RFIs, submittals, project schedules, and document control
- Process subcontractor invoices, owner billings, and project cost documentation
- Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to keep projects moving forward
- Review construction drawings and specifications
- Assist with procurement, material tracking, and project scheduling
- Support field operations and help monitor and resolve project issues
- Attend project meetings and maintain accurate meeting minutes and action items
- Ensure project documentation is complete and organized throughout the project lifecycle
Experience
- 3-7 years of commercial construction experience in project coordination, project engineering, or project management
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred
- Experience supporting multiple projects simultaneously
Technical Skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Bluebeam
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Project
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts
