Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of kitchen surfaces, floors, equipment, and dining areas using appropriate sanitizing procedures to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
- Handle waste disposal and manage recycling processes efficiently to maintain a clean environment.
- Assist with bussing tables and clearing debris to support smooth restaurant operations.
- Operate cleaning equipment such as dishwashers, floor scrubbers, and other tools safely and effectively.
- Conduct manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of supplies, equipment, or waste bins while adhering to health and safety protocols.
- Follow strict food safety management procedures during cleaning routines to prevent cross-contamination.
- Ensure all sanitation practices align with restaurant health codes and kitchen health and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is valued.
