Ashley Furniture Distribution Center in Fredericksburg, VA now has immediate openings for Delivery Drivers. Ideal candidates will have moving experience in the furniture industry, ability to lift 100 lbs., a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and the ability to work as part of a team.
This is a full time position that requires working a Tuesday-Friday schedule from 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m. (10 hrs)
In this role, you must possess a valid VA drivers license, clean driving record, pass a criminal background investigation, and drug screenings. A CDL is not required.

Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- Prior experience delivering furniture
- Ability to inspect, wrap, pack, load/unload, and assemble furniture.
- Experience driving 24-26ft straight/box trucks
- Ability to use a dolly, wheeled card, lifting straps, and other moving support equipment.
- Knowledge and ability to use safe lifting techniques
- Regularly required to stand, bend, twist, and lift, push, and pull up to 100 pounds
- Excellent Communication & Customer Service Skills
- Work safely in a customer-focused, fast-paced environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to use minimal Technology device
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- CDL not required
- High School diploma or GED
