Ashley & Vance Engineering, Inc. is seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as an Entry-Level BIM Technician. This role is based out of our Middleburg Heights, Ohio office.

At AV, you’ll work alongside experienced engineers and BIM professionals while gaining hands-on experience in structural modeling and construction documentation. Our team values mentorship, strong relationships, and continuous learning. On a typical day, you’ll assist engineers and senior BIM staff in developing structural models and construction documents using Autodesk Revit. Along the way, you’ll prepare drawings, details, and layouts, support coordination with architects and other design disciplines, and maintain organized Revit models and drawing sets.

• Help implement company BIM standards, templates, and workflows.
• Participate in internal training and continuous improvement of modeling processes.
• Assist with model updates during design development and construction documentation phases.
• Be part of a team that values learning, collaboration, and professional growth while contributing to meaningful structural engineering projects.

We’re looking for candidates who:

• Have 1–3 years of experience using Autodesk Revit in a drafting, modeling, or BIM role.
• Hold an Associate degree or technical certificate in Architecture, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• Have a basic understanding of structural building systems such as wood framing, steel, and concrete (preferred).
• Bring strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Have the ability to work collaboratively with engineers and other team members, and a desire to learn, grow, and improve technical modeling skills.
• Satisfy citizenship and/or residency requirements of ITAR.

Starting Yearly Salaries: $65,000 – $75,000 DOE
