Overview

Duties
- Pulling weeds and maintaining landscape beds
- Trimming and pruning trees, shrubs, and hedges
- Installing and transplanting trees, shrubs, flowers, and other landscape plants
- Installing mulch, pine straw, rock, and other ground coverings
- Cleaning and defining landscape bed edges
- Assisting with landscape renovations and new installations
- Safely operating landscaping equipment and hand tools
- Loading, unloading, and transporting materials
- Following company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and professional job site
- Working efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality
Qualifications
- Prior landscaping experience is required
- Being comfortable driving a truck and trailer is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment operation and troubleshooting
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, lawn care equipment, and groundskeeping machinery confidently
- Knowledge of plant identification, horticulture principles, and irrigation systems is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to outdoor work environments and equipment use
- Excellent communication skills with a proactive attitude towards teamwork and customer service
- Having your Tennessee Applicator License is not required, but preferred
