Description
LPN in a physician clinic is responsible for assisting in examinations and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician.
Duties
- Interviews patients, measures vital signs, and records information on patients’ charts.
- Consistently coordinates with co-workers and physicians in regards to patient care requirements.
- May be required to draw and collect blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for analysis.
- Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients.
- Helps front desk with phones and patient questions or concerns as needed.
