Location: Champaign, Illinois
Salary Range: $60,00-$80,000

About the Role
Are you a strategic talent acquisition professional with a passion for building high-performing teams and innovative sourcing strategies? Are you a natural connector with a strong desire for bringing great people and great opportunities together?
We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to spearhead the development of our in-house sourcing capabilities, transforming how we identify and engage top talent.
This is a critical role for someone who thrives on both hands-on sourcing and strategy. You will be instrumental in shaping our talent pipeline and directly contributing to the growth and success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage, mentor, and develop Sales Managers on good hiring process.
  • Develop Sourcing Strategy: Design, implement, and optimize innovative sourcing strategies to attract a strong pool of passive and active candidates across various functions and levels, with a focus on sales and sales management talent within our own and similar industries.
  • Build Sourcing Infrastructure: Establish and refine sourcing processes, tools, and best practices. Evaluate and recommend new technologies and platforms to enhance our sourcing effectiveness.
  • Hands-On Sourcing for critical or hard-to-fill roles, demonstrating expertise in various sourcing techniques.
  • Partnership and Collaboration: Work closely with hiring managers to understand their talent needs, provide market insights, and ensure a seamless candidate experience from initial outreach to interview.
  • Strategic Partnerships with Colleges/Trade Schools: Develop and nurture partnerships to establish robust talent pipelines for internships, co-operative programs, and full-time graduate hiring.
  • Leverage Networks: Collaborate with strong internal leaders and employees across the organization to build robust referral programs and leverage their networks for warm introductions and passive talent sourcing.
  • Talent Magnet: Leverage interpersonal skills to identify, attract, and persuade exceptional individuals to join our team.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize data and analytics to track sourcing performance, identify trends, and make informed decisions to continuously improve our sourcing efforts.
  • Employer Branding: Collaborate with Marketing to enhance our employer brand and candidate value proposition.
  • Training: Train and empower the hiring managers on effective sourcing techniques and tools.
  • Stay Ahead of Trends: Continuously research and implement new sourcing methodologies, market trends, and competitive intelligence to maintain a competitive edge.

Key Qualifications:
  • 3-4 years of progressive experience in talent acquisition and full cycle recruiting, with a strong emphasis on hands-on sourcing for key roles including sales and sales leadership.
  • Proven experience managing, mentoring, or leading.
  • Demonstrated success in building and scaling sourcing functions or initiatives and recruitment strategies within an organization.
  • Expertise in a wide range of sourcing techniques and tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, really, applicant tracking systems, specialized job boards, social media platforms).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making and optimize processes.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to develop and nurture strong relationships with potential candidates, creating a positive experience with the strength to attract and persuade exceptional talent to join our team.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and adapt to changing priorities.
