Quality Control
1. Contribute regularly within product quality work and communications globally, ensure conformance to defined workflows, improvement plans and status.
2. Complete assigned projects efficiently and with high quality workmanship; communicate effectively, manages multiple projects simultaneously.
3. Participate actively within quality improvement teams that contribute to the improvement of the global supply chain and product quality performance; collaborate with department’s senior personnel to identify areas of potential improvement within departmental and organizational communication processes, methodologies and procedures.
4. Utilize basic Continuous Improvement tools and thinking processes within communication methods. Perform tests to defined requirements, methods and protocol, as well as, document test results.
5. Assist in the creation and proofing activities of critical product documentation such as replacement parts description forms, engineering audit forms, carton printing definitions, assembly instruction sheets, directed work projects, SKU specifications, etc.
6. Regularly perform quality investigations through product testing and product auditing. Set up and conduct testing for casegood products, upholstery products and individual assembly components. Roll up results and analyze data to communicate to internal and external management, suppliers and vendors. Audit products in the pre-package and out-of-box state.
7. Regularly recommend solutions to product and process issues and assist in managing implementation.
8. Assist in administering Standard Operating Procedure requirements and implement product quality improvement actions upon management approval.
9. Demonstrate the Company’s Core and Growth Values in the performance of all job functions.
