What Will You Do?
The IT Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing large-scale projects within the organization ranging from software implementation to IT infrastructure. This role requires strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills to ensure successful project delivery. The IT Project Manager will work closely with various stakeholders including executive leadership, solutions architects, facility managers, and IT development teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in alignment with the organization's business goals. Lead a team of project managers including setting goals, developing a training plan to upskill, hiring as needed, and conducting annual reviews.

IT Project Manager
What Will You Do?
The IT Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing large-scale projects within the organization ranging from software implementation to IT infrastructure. This role requires strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills to ensure successful project delivery. The IT Project Manager will work closely with various stakeholders including executive leadership, solutions architects, facility managers, and IT development teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in alignment with the organization's business goals. Lead a team of project managers including setting goals, developing a training plan to upskill, hiring as needed, and conducting annual reviews.
- Formalize, plan, and drive the execution of complex projects ranging from enterprise software development and implementation to establishing IT infrastructure for a manufacturing facility.
- Effectively manage stakeholders ranging from executives, department heads, and third-party contractors/consultants to include negotiating through frictions points, tailoring communication as required, and being proactive with engagements to drive results.
- Strong verbal communication both in-person and virtual to facilitate and drive project meetings and engage key stakeholders.
- Strong written communication providing executive summaries, project status reports, and detailed meeting notes to stakeholders at all levels.
- Effectively manages project budgets, tracks expenses, and ensures financial accountability.
- Effectively manages risk for the project by identifying issues, clearly defining the impact, escalating as needed while providing options for business leaders, and mitigating the risk as needed.
- Strong understanding of project management and change management methodologies and best practices.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Stays updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in project management.
- Demonstrates the Company’s Core and Growth Values in the performance of all job functions.
- Bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, information systems, computer science, or related field, Required
- 5 years of project management, Required
- 2 years of IT infrastructure project management, Preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent, Preferred
- Agile (CSM or PMI-ACP, etc.), Preferred
- Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale projects, from initiation to closure.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills to guide and motivate project teams.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to facilitate effective collaboration and stakeholder management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Proficient in project management software and tools for planning, tracking, and reporting.
- Ability to develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial accountability.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, while meeting deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills to maintain project documentation and deliverables.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing project requirements and effectively manage project scope.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate challenges and provide innovative solutions.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
