What You'll Do
Design & Documentation
- Draw new stores into AutoCAD
- Create 3D store models and renders for retail locations
- Develop space planning layouts and construction documents
- Prepare merchandise documents for store setups
- Correct redlines and create verified plans
- Assist with construction and merchandise document creation
- Support façade design and design tools/assets development
- Participate in Ashley store, market, and event setups
- Organize design library and sample materials
- Contribute to new concept ideation and special projects
- Attend project site visits and design trips
- Collaborate with internal teams (Construction, Real Estate, Visual Merchandising, Brand Design)
- Gain exposure to retail design from concept to execution

What You Bring
- AutoCAD experience (required)
- Currently pursuing a degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
- Completed sophomore year (ideal)
- 3D modeling and rendering experience
- Strong design and visual communication skills
- Space planning knowledge
- Ability to work collaboratively in team environments
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Passion for retail design and customer experience
- Hands-on retail design experience– work on real stores serving millions of customers
- Diverse project exposure – new stores, remodels, visual displays, market events
- Professional mentorship – learn from experienced Interior Design team
- Cross-functional shadowing – explore Construction, Furniture Design, Visual Merchandising, Brand Design
