Job Summary
The IBP Process & Governance Lead owns the enterprise Integrated Business Planning (IBP) operating model and governance framework across Ashley’s vertically integrated value chain.
This role is accountable for designing, facilitating, and continuously improving the monthly Sales & Operations Planning (4-12 week planning timeframe) and weekly Sales & Operations Execution (0–4 week planning framework) cadences. The focus of this role is process discipline, executive alignment, structured decision-making, and cross-functional governance — not direct ownership of business performance.
This leader ensures that Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Warehousing & Distributions, Wholesale, Retail, and E-commerce operate from a single, aligned, decision-ready plan.

Key Responsibilities
IBP Operating Model Ownership
- Own and operate the meeting cadences in the IBP framework, including both S&OP and S&OE processes
- Define and maintain planning cadences, governance forums, escalation paths, and decision rights
- Ensure standardized planning inputs, outputs, and meeting structures
- Maintain all elements of project and program management: decision logs, assumptions, action tracking, etc.
- Facilitate monthly S&OP and weekly S&OE forums
- Drive structured, fact-based cross-functional discussions and root cause analysis
- Escalate and resolve conflicts across channels and verticals
- Identify and communicate organizational improvement and cross-functional collaboration opportunities
- Ensure alignment between supply chain, manufacturing, warehousing, distribution and sales teams
- Connect strategic commitments to near-term execution, while identifying cross-functional risks
- Identify process gaps and breakdowns across the organization
- Act as an advocate of promoting culture of sharing learnings and collaboration
- Refine and monitor IBP process KPIs (cadence adherence, decision cycle time, plan stability, etc.)
- Lead retrospectives and drive process improvement initiatives
- Establish governance discipline across the process
- Partner with IT and Analytics to ensure planning tools support the operating model
Education: Bachelor’s degree required (Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Engineering, or related field)
Experience
- 6–10 years of S&OP, S&OE, or IBP process leadership experience
- Experience facilitating cross-functional executive forums
- Multi-channel, vertically integrated environment experience preferred
- Strong executive presence and facilitation capability
