What Will You Do?

Electromechanical Technicians maintain and repair electromechanical drives, sensors and automated machinery while working with maintenance and engineers to install and evaluate electromechanical systems to support the manufacturing process.

Essential Mechanical Duties

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on industrial production equipment including pneumatic systems, gearboxes, conveyors, and automated assembly systems
• Execute mechanical alignments and calibrations on drive shafts, motors, pumps, and bearing assemblies
• Maintain and troubleshoot lubrication systems, mechanical seals, belt drives, and fluid power systems
• Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
• Use precision measurement tools including micrometers, calipers, and alignment equipment
• Install and modify mechanical components according to specifications
• Respond to emergency repair calls and perform corrective maintenance
• Document all maintenance activities and maintain accurate repair records
• Follow safety protocols and maintain clean work environment
• Collaborating with team members to improve equipment reliability and efficiency
