Responsibilities
- Carefully pack and prepare products for shipment, ensuring accuracy and protection during transit
- Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems to pick, pack, and verify orders efficiently
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other mechanical tools for loading and unloading materials
- Assist with inventory management by stocking shelves, replenishing supplies, and conducting stock counts
- Collaborate with shipping & receiving teams to ensure timely dispatch and receipt of goods
- Conduct quality control checks to verify order accuracy and packaging standards
- Support warehouse supervisor in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Skills
- Experience operating heavy equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other mechanical tools
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for order picking and inventory tracking
- Strong materials handling skills with the ability to lift heavy items safely
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, order fulfillment processes, and warehouse distribution practices
- Mechanical knowledge useful for troubleshooting equipment issues
- Prior warehouse experience with picking & packing, stocking, and quality control procedures
- Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently while adhering to safety guidelines
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in order picking and packing tasks
