We are seeking a caring and energetic Caregiver to join our dedicated team. In this vital role, you will provide compassionate support to residents of all ages, including infants, toddlers, children, and adults with disabilities. Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and comfort
- Support children with age-appropriate activities that foster childhood development and learning
- Provide specialized care for infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, and soothing techniques
- Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive behavior and emotional well-being
- Collaborate with team members to develop and follow personalized care plans tailored to each resident’s needs
- Ensure safety by adhering to health protocols such as first aid procedures and infection control practices
- Engage residents in meaningful activities that promote social interaction, learning, and physical activity
Experience
- Prior experience working with children or in early childhood education settings such as daycare or preschool is preferred
- Experience in caregiving roles involving individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly valued
- Classroom experience or nannying that demonstrates patience, adaptability, and nurturing skills is beneficial
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques is desirable
- Certification in first aid or CPR is a plus but not required; training can be provided during onboarding
