What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lab Technician position at Ashland Water Group?
Job Description:
- Ensure pumps meet established performance standards
- Monitor life cycle testing
- R&D and engineering support
- Discuss testing results with those responsible for products
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications
- Assist as directed by supervisor in other areas such as:
- Production
- Returned goods
- Field work, such as start-ups and troubleshooting
- Literature development and reviews
- Prototype builds and testing
Experience:
- Experience with wiring AC/DC voltage preferred
- Proficient in using of common hand, pneumatic, and power tools
- Ability to operate electrical equipment - multimeter, megger, hi-pot tester
Experience with Excel and Word
