Role Overview
As an AP Assistant, you will play a critical part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our payment operations. You will work to process invoices, coordinate payments, and maintain strong vendor relations. In the Customer Service aspect of your role, you will answer phones, resolve customer questions, analyze accounts and take delivery orders.
Key Responsibilities
- Invoice Processing: Review, code, and accurately enter vendor invoices into the accounting system. File any completed work.
- Reconciliation: Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents (3-way matching) and reconcile vendor statements.
- Vendor Support: Address and resolve vendor inquiries and discrepancies in a professional manner.
- Expense Reports: Review and process employee credit card statements and expense reports.
- Month-End Support: Assist with month-end closing procedures and ad-hoc reporting projects.
- Customer Service: Answer phone calls, take delivery orders, respond and resolve customer questions, analyze accounts and enter notes in computer system
Qualifications & Requirements
· Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Quickbooks is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
