We are a well-established Ford and Chrysler dealership in beautiful northern Wisconsin, proudly serving our community with quality vehicles and exceptional customer service. As we grow, we’re looking for a motivated, detail-oriented professional to join our office team as a Title Clerk with the clear opportunity to learn from our experienced Controller and step into that leadership role upon their retirement in the coming years.

What You’ll Do (Starting as Title Clerk):

• Process all new and used vehicle titles, registrations, and tax documents for the State of Wisconsin DMV.
• Verify costs, prepare paperwork, and ensure accurate transfers for sales and trade-ins.
• Work closely with sales, finance, and accounting teams to keep deals moving smoothly.
• Maintain organized records and handle lien payoffs, temporary tags, and related compliance.
• Shadow and train under our Controller on full-cycle accounting, financial statements, payroll, budgeting, and dealership operations.

Future Responsibilities (Controller Path):

• Oversee daily accounting operations, month-end closes, and financial reporting.
• Manage cash flow, receivables, payables, and compliance with manufacturer and regulatory standards.
• Provide insights to ownership and management on financial performance and opportunities.
• Lead and develop office staff as the role expands.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience as a Title Clerk, Office Manager, or in automotive accounting/finance is strongly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency with dealership software (autosoft, CDK, Reynolds) and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
• Ability to work accurately under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Wisconsin DMV title/registration knowledge is a big plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or related field is a plus.
• Reliable, professional, and a team player with a positive attitude.
