The Event Lead New business Development manager manages and supports the Event Sales team which consists of Junior and Senior level stylists. This role is responsible for growing and maintaining a strong and healthy pipeline of business, leading the stylists in a successful sales process, and growing relationships and partnerships to grow our events business. This person is also responsible for leading sales programs with Corporations, Institutions, Schools.
The Event Lead New business Development manager reports directly to the GM.
Essential Duties
Lead Event Sales Team
· Identify and actively engage/partner with planners, venues, clubs, churches, etc, to grow our brand, exposure, and sales lead pipeline
· Lead, Manage, and Hold Accountable the Event Stylists responsible for taking clients from inquiry to completed event
· Monitor and assign incoming inquiries expediently and appropriately for the best outcome of the client and the company
· Monitor sales performance, research best practices, and implement with stylists to maximize booking rate and revenue
· Collaborate with our marketing team to develop and maintain brand identity and artwork as needed
· Facilitate healthy and effective collaborations between sales team and the production, logistics, and accounting team to achieve successful event outcomes.
Lead Corporate / Institution Sales programs
· Identify and actively engage/partner with Schools, Non-Profits, Businesses, Institutions, etc. to identify and grow sales with these entities
· Collaborate with Sales/Marketing personnel as needed to craft programs and marketing pieces to target specific markets, implement, and followup/maintain
· Such as – School graduations, Law firms, Hospital departments, Nurses Day, Admin day
Requirements
● 3 years in floral/event design production in a management capacity
● 3 years in a sales oriented, client facing role in the events industry
● Specialized knowledge of floral design and floral mechanics required
● Proven ability to multitask various projects between departments and with multiple
stakeholders
● Must be a self starter with the ability to work effectively within teams and independently
● Demonstrated ability to share skills and knowledge with others
● Effective problem solving and mediation skills
● Outstanding interpersonal communications and conflict management skills
● Excellent attention to detail, highly organized, with outstanding follow-up skills
● Knowledge of FlowerBuddy event software is helpful but not required
● Required to assist Everyday Design team on floral holidays including but not limited to:
Christmas, Valentine’s Day, and Mother’s Day

Pay: $55,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
