Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a passion for customer service and the ability to exceed customer expectations. Be sales oriented, dependable, and have excellent communication skills. Also be good at assembling and fixing things. Power equipment knowledge a plus!
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist all customers in a friendly and professional manner
- To engage customers to determine their needs and recommend the proper products to complete their project in the best way.
- Maintain Inventory accuracy as needed
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately
- Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions
- Keep all areas of the store clean, organized and customer ready
Skills:
- A positive attitude with the ability to finish tasks
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus / Spanish
- Ability to assemble products
- The ability to engage customers and fulfill their needs
- Strong product knowledge and organizational skills
- Solid computer skills, the ability to read a rule, climb a ladder and lift 60 pounds
- Ability and willingness to learn general product knowledge to share with our customers.
- The willingness and ability to work as a team to satisfy our customers and achieve goals

Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Proficient in cash handling and operating a cash register
- Experience with POS systems and retail sales
- Basic math and retail math skills
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Organizational skills and ability to manage inventory
- Familiarity with merchandising and product demonstrations
- Must have open availability
- Power equipment knowledge a plus
