Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring optimal oral health and patient satisfaction. Our office is slow-paced, single column with 50% fee for service/ 50% PPO. No HMOs, No Medicaid. Your expertise in general dentistry, combined with your ability to perform a wide range of procedures, will contribute to creating healthy, confident smiles. - Perform comprehensive dental examinations, including patient assessment and diagnosis using medical imaging and dental terminology.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that encompass preventive care, restorative procedures, prosthodontics, endodontics (root canal therapy), oral surgery (dental extractions), and other general dentistry services.
- Conduct dental fabrication procedures such as crowns, bridges, and dentures with precision and attention to detail.
- Utilize advanced dental software system Denticon for medical documentation, treatment planning, and record keeping while ensuring HIPAA compliance for patient privacy.
- Execute infection control protocols using aseptic techniques and maintain a sterile environment during all procedures.
- Collaborate with the dental team in four-handed dentistry to improve efficiency and patient comfort during treatments.
- Educate patients on oral health maintenance, preventive practices, and post-treatment care to promote long-term wellness.
- Maintain accurate medical records and document all procedures thoroughly in accordance with medical terminology standards.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and infection control standards while providing exceptional patient care in a friendly and professional manner. Experience
- Proven experience working in a dental clinic or dental office environment with a strong foundation in general dentistry procedures.
- Demonstrated proficiency with dental practice management software Denticon.
- Hands-on experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery procedures.
- Practice in endodontic procedures is a plus.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy related to oral structures, and infection control practices essential for safe practice.
- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry principles is a plus for treating pediatric patients effectively.
- Ability to communicate clearly with patients of diverse backgrounds while maintaining professionalism and compassion.
