Role Description
We are looking to add staff to both our competitive(travel) and Academy(in-house) programs based in Hendersonville. This is a part-time role and involves planning and executing training sessions, coaching teams during games, fostering player development, and ensuring adherence to the club’s playing philosophy and values. Responsibilities also include evaluating player performance, maintaining clear communication with families, and collaborating with fellow coaching staff. The coach will help mentor players to reach their potential, exemplifying leadership both on and off the field.
Qualifications
- Soccer coaching experience, including player development and team management
- Strong communication skills for player, parent, and staff engagement
- Leadership, teamwork, and mentoring abilities
- Knowledge of soccer strategies, techniques, and coaching methodologies
- Strong time management and organizational skills for planning training sessions and coordinating events
- USSF Coaching License or equivalent coaching certification is highly desirable
- A passion for nurturing the personal and athletic growth of players
- Experience in working with youth and adolescent players is preferred
