Job Description Summary
An instructor in this position will include clinical instruction of students and direction and guidance of clinical instructors. This individual must possess the knowledge and skills to teach and supervise students in laboratory and clinical settings. Tasks may include occasional didactic instruction.
Duties
1. Instruct students in the clinical setting
2. Direct the student’s clinical experience exposing them to a broad experience as well as a necessary specific experience in recognition of student level of training.
3. Participate in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation activities to improve the clinical component of the program.
4. All faculty must be familiar with program goals and be able to demonstrate the ability to develop an organized plan of instruction and evaluation.
5. Faculty/instructional staff must be responsible for providing instruction, evaluation of students, documentation of progress, and periodic review of course content.

Minimum Requirements
1. Associate degree in medical sonography or a related field.
2. Credentialed in medical sonography and in good standing with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers with RDMS and RVT credentials.
3. Must have a minimum of two years experience in the practice of medical sonography.
