Cleaning Technician – Residential & Commercial Cleaning
Asher’s Cleaning Service is hiring dependable, detail-oriented Cleaning Technicians to join our growing team. We provide residential, commercial, move-in/move-out, deep-cleaning, and recurring cleaning services throughout Birmingham and surrounding communities.
We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work, communicate professionally, and understand the importance of creating a clean, comfortable environment for every client.
Pay: Starting at $17 per hour
Job Type: Full-time or part-time
Service Area: Birmingham, Hoover, Leeds, Moody, Trussville, Pelham, Bessemer, and surrounding areas
Responsibilities
- Perform residential and commercial cleaning services
- Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and sanitize assigned areas
- Clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, offices, and common areas
- Complete deep cleans and move-in/move-out cleanings
- Follow company cleaning procedures and client instructions
- Handle cleaning supplies and equipment safely
- Inspect completed work to ensure company quality standards are met
- Communicate professionally with clients, supervisors, and team members
- Work independently or alongside another cleaner
- Arrive on time and complete assignments within the scheduled period
Qualifications
- Cleaning experience is preferred but not required
- Must be dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Must have a working cellphone
- Must be able to travel between cleaning locations
- Must be comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and perform physical cleaning tasks
- Must be able to stand, bend, kneel, reach, and move for extended periods
- Must communicate respectfully and professionally
- Must be willing to complete a background check
- Weekend availability is helpful but not always required
