Position Details

- Compensation: Commensurate with experience
- Bonus: Eligible for a commitment bonus up to $5,000
Position Summary
The Medical Assistant (MA) serves as a vital link between patients and providers, delivering high-quality clinical and administrative support across multiple physician clinic locations. This role is essential to ensuring efficient patient flow, excellent patient experiences, and quality clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately obtain and document vital signs and patient information
- Prepare patients for examination and assist providers during visits
- Perform or assist with procedures including phlebotomy, sterile techniques, and diagnostics within scope of practice
- Collect, label, and process laboratory specimens
- Maintain exam rooms and clinical areas to ensure cleanliness and readiness
- Coordinate and facilitate patient flow throughout the clinic
- Communicate effectively with patients via phone and in person
- Provide patient education, including for those with special needs
- Maintain laboratory records and patient results
- Conduct routine checks of medications and supplies for expiration
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and safety initiatives
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Completion of a Medical Office Assistant program preferred
- Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

- Commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork
- Willingness to comply with all health and safety requirements, including vaccinations
Employment Requirements
- Successful completion of a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening (post-offer)
- Proof of required vaccinations or approved exemption prior to start date
