Position Summary
Under the supervision of the Central Billing Manager who reports to the Director of Revenue Cycle Management, the Dental Central Billing Representative I is responsible for maintaining a high-performance work environment characterized by timely and accurate entry of all charges for services provided at all locations.

Position Summary
Under the supervision of the Central Billing Manager who reports to the Director of Revenue Cycle Management, the Dental Central Billing Representative I is responsible for maintaining a high-performance work environment characterized by timely and accurate entry of all charges for services provided at all locations.
Essentail Duties And Responsibilities
- Review patient encounters for charge accuracy as needed including encounter rate and self-pay discount codes.
- Monitor and review site unbilled encounters and assist, when necessary, to meet mutual daily and weekly deadlines.
- Meet all EOM (end of month) closing activities and deadlines.
- Participate in billing Helpdesk customer support, by receiving, responding and documenting all incoming account inquiries.
- Complete bad debt process based on FCCH procedure.
- Responsible for all other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to work in a high-volume environment
- Ability to operate 10-key numerical pad by touch
- Experience in a multispecialty clinic setting.
- Coding and Billing Certificate.
- Knowledge of CDT, Dental Terminology, ICD-10 Preferred.
- Familiarity with insurance and reimbursement processes preferred.
- Good telephone etiquette and organizational skills.
- Able to handle diversified duties.
