Duties
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, and planting to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor areas
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as excavators and irrigation systems safely and efficiently
- Support landscape installation projects by preparing sites, laying hardscape features like patios or walkways, and planting trees or shrubs
- Perform lawn care activities including aeration, fertilization, and weed control to promote lush greenery
- Conduct seasonal snow plowing operations to keep pathways safe and accessible during winter months
- Maintain equipment through routine cleaning and minor repairs to ensure optimal performance
- Follow safety protocols at all times while working with construction machinery, landscaping tools, or in tree care activities
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge for operating and maintaining landscaping machinery and tools
- Experience with lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticulture practices
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment like excavators or irrigation systems
