Description: Asgard Northwest is a full service construction company based out of Everett, WA. We are hiring a Lead Carpenter and are looking for a self-starter with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction field. Our shop is in South Everett and we work around the north end of the Puget Sound with some projects on the eastside, some in North Seattle and some up into south Skagit county.
Workdays are M-F and start at 8a. Approximately 70% of the projects are in Snohomish County, 25% are on the north side of King County/Eastside and 5% in south Skagit County.
This position will report directly to our COO and work both independently as well as be a crew lead alongside other crew members. A successful Lead Carpenter should be able to satisfy their supervisor and our clients by:
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ownership over all work assigned.
- Effective and efficient communication with colleagues, subcontractors and supervisor.
- Work all facets of a projects from demo to finishing touches.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues including light electrical and light plumbing issues.
- Ability to build fences and decks.
- Ability to perform drywall repair and paint.
- Ability to complete kitchen and bathroom remodels
- Ability to perform framing projects
Qualifications:
- 10 years of previous carpenter experience
- 3 years managing crews
- Valid Washington State Driver’s License
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to access time tracking software on the job site and use it.
- Have their own transportation
- Have their own tools
- Ability to lift 50 pounds

Pay and Benefits
Hourly pay is $38-42/hr. Rate will be determined based on level of experience. There will be a review after the first 90 days where employee will be eligible for a raise. Vehicle stipend provided.
