What are the responsibilities and job description for the Travel Pharmacy Technician position at Asereth Medical Services?
Asereth Medical Services is looking for Pharmacy Technicians to join our team for a short-term assignment located in Southern California.
Job Functions:
- Dispense prescriptions, including measuring, mixing, and labeling dosages
- Process prescriptions
- Knowledge & ability to perform prior authorizations
- Answer questions, educate patients about medication use, and refer patients to the pharmacist
- Maintaining detailed patient records, including medication history, adherence data, and insurance information
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients regarding their treatment plan, address concerns, and provide education
Qualifications:
- Valid and current California Pharmacy Technician License in good standing
- Minimum 1 year experience as a pharmacy technician
- Up-to-date Immunization records (TB, MMR, Varicella, Flu)
- PTCB Certification – Preferred
