Content Creator/Manager (Social Media)

The Social Media Content Creator/Manager (title flexible based on experience) is responsible for creating, curating, and coordinating high-quality social content for a variety of brands. 

This full-time hybrid role based in Knoxville, TN requires availability during Asen's normal business hours. As a hybrid position, you’ll work remotely most days, but occasionally join us in-office at Asen or travel for monthly content shoots and client meetings.

Position at a Glance:

• Brand Management on Social Media Platforms
• Social Media Strategy Development, Execution, & Analytics
• Content Creation (Visual and/or Written)

Key Responsibilities: 

• Plan and manage social media content calendars for multiple brands, ensuring a consistent posting cadence.
• Create engaging visual and written content for various social platforms (captions, Reels/TikToks, stories, etc.).
• Collaborate with internal teams (design, copy, accounts) to produce cohesive content.
• Collaborate with the social media team to coordinate on-site content grabs (including photos and videos) with the goal of eventually managing these shoots independently.
• Work with the Digital Strategist to monitor, understand, and report on performance metrics, implementing any data-informed suggestions for improvement.
• Manage community engagement by responding to comments, messages, and tags in a timely, on-brand manner.
• Stay ahead of social media trends, emerging tools, and algorithm changes, proactively adjusting strategies as needed.

Qualifications & Experience:

• 1-3 years of experience working in social media or content creation/management
• Creative eye with strong attention to detail; “out of the box” thinker
• Exceptional written & verbal communications
• Experience in an agency setting preferred
