The Inside Sales Representative is a critical contributor to Asembia’s growth strategy, collaborating with National Account Managers to generate and secure high-quality appointments that advance key business opportunities.
Job Scope And Major Responsibilities
- Conduct daily outbound prospecting calls to identify and engage potential business accounts.
- Accurately record, update, and maintain all prospective and existing account information using designated sales tools and CRM systems.
- Execute consistent and timely follow-up with prospective and current accounts to advance opportunities through the sales pipeline.
- Build, organize, and manage a comprehensive customer database to support prospecting efforts for Asembia’s various offerings.
- Gather and document key insights regarding prospective account needs, preparing detailed summaries for the National Account Manager.
- Engage qualified leads in discussions about Asembia’s capabilities, services, and value-added offerings.
- Present compelling value propositions, create urgency, and help advance sales opportunities through direct conversations or by leveraging subject matter experts
- Collaborate closely with internal back-office teams—including operations, contracting, data services, and customer support-to ensure seamless information flow, alignment on account needs, and a unified customer experience.
- Consistently achieve and exceed quarterly goals and quotas by securing qualified appointments and driving sales activity via phone outreach.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support departmental and organizational objectives.
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and all applicable privacy and security requirements.
- Proven experience in inside sales, appointment setting, and/or customer service, with a strong track record of driving outbound engagement and pipeline growth.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn and navigate CRM and sales-enablement tools.
- Self-starter with strong internal motivation, able to work independently while thriving in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Exceptional listening skills and the ability to identify customer needs through thoughtful, strategic questioning.
- Skilled in leveraging effective discovery techniques to qualify leads and uncover key business drivers.
- Strong time-management and organizational abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and consistently meet deadlines and quotas.
