Junior Accountant

ASD|SKY, a progressive interior design, architectural and graphics firm, has an immediate opening for an entry-level Accountant to handle various functions in our Atlanta office.

Accounting Responsibilities:

• Handle all Project accounting and various requests for multiple Project Managers with the company – including invoicing
• Release and file invoices for assigned Project Managers
• Cash receipts data entry
• Cash receipts electronic filing
• Maintain various data for accounting records
• Assist with month end operations and closing
• Operational data input into management reports
• Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts
• Assist with other financial and accounting projects as needed
• Administrative support for the accounting team

Ideal Candidate should have the following:

• Ability to deal with confidential items
• Organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
• Proficiency in all MS Office programs with Excel skills being key component
• Ability to work efficiently, accurately, and independently
• Proficient in prioritizing multiple tasks and demands to meet deadlines
• Candidates must be able to multi-task without issue

Candidates are preferred to have an accounting degree.

This position reports to the VP of Finance.
