What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping and Receiving Specialist position at ASCT LLC?
Job Description
Responsible for daily deliveries from various carriers. Inspection and packaging of both incoming and outgoing product. Creating shipping labels and ship according to customer request and shipping schedule.
· Receiver daily deliveries and insure they are distributed to proper area
· Maintain accurate records in receiving logs
· Record part numbers, serial number, quantities, shipping containers for accurate traceability
· Inspect all incoming items and report discrepancies or damages.
· Insure all product is stored in proper containers or protected areas at all times
· Maintain proper records and documentation for all labor and product tractability to insure proper process flow.
· Package all product per customer SOP’s
· Perform other duties specificied by the supervisor including, but not limited to general or specific housekeeping, spot maintenance, inventory of parts and supplies and lessor duties as they may be required
· Observe all safety rules as mandated by OSHA standards
· Report all product deviations to the Supervisor immediately
· Support the ASCT Quality System based on the requirementsof ISO-9001:2015, becoming familiar with documented procedures and practices that affect product quality.
Experience
Past experience in a related field, skills to be organized and multitask, be able to read and comprehend shipping documents and maintain accuracy when following specific instructions. Work well without supervision.
High School Diploma or equivilent G.E.D.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
