Position Overview
Reporting to the Premium Audit Supervisor, the Premium Auditor will conduct insurance premium audits for Workers Compensation policies.This is a hybrid, 3 days in office position based in our Atlanta Office.

Position Overview
Reporting to the Premium Audit Supervisor, the Premium Auditor will conduct insurance premium audits for Workers Compensation policies.This is a hybrid, 3 days in office position based in our Atlanta Office.
Responsibilities
- Preparing for and corresponding with clients to set up audit appointments
- Examining policyholder’s records and g athering data to determine earned premium for risks are accurate
- Verifying correct classes are being applied and in accordance with company procedures
- Writing an effective description of operations
- Preparing audit worksheet, communicating and explaining the results to stakeholders
- Applying NCCI Basic Manual and independent state bureau rules and principles
- Adhering to company standards and business ethics
- Maintaining confidentiality
- Attending court hearings, as needed, including testifying regarding audit findings
- Reviewing claims activity on policies to ensure that employee coding is consistent and accurate
- Discussing issues and problems with the insured to ensure understanding of the change in premium exposures and to maintain good customer relations

- A minimum of 2 years of premium audit experience
- High school diploma
- Ability to work independently
- Working knowledge of insurance and accounting principles
- Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Must be self-motivated, self-disciplined and exhibit a willingness to learn
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional demeanor
- Ability to Travel with some overnight stay, including occasional out of state travel
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
