Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair electronic systems and equipment using schematics, technical manuals, and testing tools such as ohmmeters.
- Perform routine maintenance on mechanical hardware, low voltage systems, and electronic devices to prevent failures and extend equipment lifespan.
- Utilize hand tools and other specialized equipment to install, modify, or upgrade electronic components and assemblies.
- Conduct field service visits to client sites for on-site troubleshooting, repairs, and system calibration.
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation to accurately troubleshoot issues.
- Document all service activities thoroughly, including repairs performed, parts used, and system status updates.
Skills
- Proven experience as a service technician working with electronic equipment in field service environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with proficiency in using hand tools for precise repairs.
- Familiarity with mechanical and electrical hardware components, and low voltage electrical systems.
- Ability to read schematics accurately and troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently.
- Experience repairing diverse electronic devices and systems using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
- Knowledge of maintenance best practices for electronic equipment to ensure long-term operational stability.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to technical challenges involving mechanical or electrical faults.
