Position Overview
Seeking an enterprise-grade QA Lead / Healthcare Technology Specialist with 8–10 years of experience to direct quality validation, data analysis, and compliance verification across healthcare quality management systems. This 100% on-site role requires deep expertise in HEDIS (Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set) measures, NCQA quality reporting processes, and clinical data exchange standards (HL7, FHIR, CCD, ADT, SIU). The engineer will utilize SQL and Databricks to conduct large-scale data profiling, validate complex healthcare data mapping pipelines, and ensure data integrity across clinical data streams.
Key Responsibilities
* HEDIS & Healthcare Quality Assurance: Lead end-to-end quality validation and compliance testing for HEDIS measure workflows, NCQA quality reporting metrics, and clinical quality measure (eCQM) processing engines.
* Healthcare Interoperability & Data Standards: Parse, validate, and verify clinical data exchanges leveraging HL7 v2/v3, FHIR resources, and standardized electronic health record documents (CCD, ADT, SIU messages).
* Data Profiling & Validation via SQL & Databricks: Query, analyze, and reconcile multi-terabyte healthcare datasets using advanced SQL and Databricks analytical tools to identify data quality anomalies, structural gaps, and transformation errors.
* Requirements Sourcing & Data Mapping: Lead requirements gathering sessions with business stakeholders, draft technical data mapping specifications, and maintain comprehensive test coverage documentation.
* Data Insights & Root Cause Diagnostics: Perform deep-dive root cause analysis on clinical data mismatches, providing data-driven analytics and reports to optimize operational quality workflows.
* Stakeholder Governance & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Manage relationships with business analysts, clinical quality leads, and technical delivery teams, working independently to drive quality assurance goals.
Required Skillset
* Experience: 8–10 years of dedicated professional software QA and technical analysis experience in the US Healthcare domain.
* HEDIS & Quality Process Mastery: Expert, hands-on knowledge of HEDIS measures, NCQA compliance guidelines, and clinical quality reporting workflows.
* Healthcare Interoperability Standards: Proven experience parsing and testing HL7 v2/v3, FHIR, Continuity of Care Documents (CCD), ADT (Admission, Discharge, Transfer), and SIU (Scheduling) message formats.
* SQL & Databricks Proficiency: Strong technical ability to write complex SQL queries and execute data validation inside Databricks environments to profile high-volume datasets.
* Data Mapping & Business Analysis: Direct experience gathering business requirements, creating source-to-target data mapping documents, and authoring end-to-end test strategies.
* On-site & Interview Requirement: Fully prepared to work 100% on-site in Hartford, CT and attend a Face-to-Face interview.
