Job Description:
The Cloud Enablement Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, securing, and managing enterprise cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure. The role focuses on Azure networking, virtual machines, identity and access management, automation, security hardening, and hybrid cloud connectivity while ensuring high availability, performance, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support Azure infrastructure, including VMs, virtual networks (VNETs), and cloud services.
- Administer Windows and Linux servers (upgrades, patching, CIS hardening, vulnerability remediation).
- Design secure, scalable, and resilient Azure architectures.
- Implement and manage identity and access management using Microsoft Entra.
- Configure Azure networking, including VNETs, Private Endpoints, Private DNS, ExpressRoute, and hybrid connectivity.
- Automate cloud provisioning and deployment processes using Azure tools and scripting.
- Monitor cloud performance, availability, and operational health.
- Support change, incident, and problem management processes in cloud environments.
- Develop disaster recovery, high availability (HA), and business continuity (BCP) strategies.
- Administer Microsoft 365 services such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, PowerApps, and ShareGate migrations.
- Integrate Azure management tools with enterprise systems.
