What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cert Reg Nurse Anethesist position at Ascentist Healthcare?
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Independently evaluate patients preoperatively to determine appropriate anesthesia plans.
- Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care across multiple specialties.
- Place and manage regional anesthesia blocks.
- Manage intraoperative anesthetic care, continuously adjusting for patient needs.
- Provide post-anesthesia recovery evaluation and management.
- Partner with surgical teams, nursing staff, and specialty providers to coordinate care.
- Participate in patient safety initiatives, case reviews, and quality improvement efforts.
- Educate patients and families regarding anesthesia plans, risks, and postoperative expectations.
- Current CRNA certification
- Active Kansas license (or ability to obtain)
- Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program
- Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
