Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Receiving
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and shipments for accuracy, damage, and compliance with purchase requirements
- Investigate and resolve receiving discrepancies in coordination with Purchasing, Quality, and suppliers
- Prepare domestic and international outbound shipments, including temperature-controlled and dangerous goods shipments as applicable, in accordance with customer, regulatory, and IATA requirements
- Coordinate shipment schedules with customers, carriers, and international departments
- Coordinate transportation with approved carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries
- Respond to customer and carrier shipping inquiries and resolve shipment-related issues
- Support cycle count and physical inventory activities
- Follow Good Documentation Process (GDP), FDA regulations, ISO13485 requirements and company procedures
- Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits involving warehouse operations
- Perform inventory transactions including receipts, transfers, issues, and adjustments within the ERP system
- Store, move, and handle materials in accordance with established inventory control procedures and material handling requirements
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, inventory accuracy, and shipping efficiency
- Assist in creating, revising, and maintaining warehouse SOPs, work instructions, and forms
