Ascent Resources is seeking an experienced I&E Specialist. This position is located in Cambridge, OH and will report to the Superintendent – I&E.
This position is responsible for developing and maintaining industrial control systems within our oil and gas production facilities.

Ascent Resources is seeking an experienced I&E Specialist. This position is located in Cambridge, OH and will report to the Superintendent – I&E.
This position is responsible for developing and maintaining industrial control systems within our oil and gas production facilities.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain ICS for oil and gas production processes, ensuring optimum safety of personnel and facilities while optimizing production
- Develop and program automation systems to improve production efficiencies and reduce downtime
- Document all changes to control configurations and hardware
- Maintain HMI build files and configurations
- Support construction crew and IE team through commissioning new pad builds
- Train IE team members on new control systems
- Oversee ICS projects by managing contractors and capital expenditures
- Other duties assigned as needed
Minimum Requirements:
- Must understand oil and gas production principles
- Possess the ability to analyze, evaluate, design, and optimize equipment, integrate systems to improve safety and increase production
- Possess the ability to critically think and problem solve
- Ability to work within a time sensitive environment
Minimum Requirements:
- Associate of Science degree in electrical, electronics, or computer engineering. Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years of Oil and Gas Production control systems (ROC800/ABB) experience
- Minimum 2 years HMI programming (Beijer preferred)
