Job Summary:

Are you passionate about helping others on their journey to recovery and well-being? As a Physical Therapy Technician at Ascent Physical Therapy, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in our patients' lives. Collaborate with our experienced team of therapists to deliver exceptional care and support.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in Therapy Sessions: Work closely with licensed physical therapists to assist in implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Patient Care: Provide hands-on support to patients during therapeutic exercises and modalities.
• Equipment Preparation: Set up and maintain treatment areas and equipment to ensure a safe and effective therapy environment.
• Patient Assistance: Offer exceptional customer service and guidance to patients, addressing their questions and concerns.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records and document progress as directed by therapists.
• Appointment Coordination: Assist in scheduling and coordinating patient appointments to ensure smooth clinic operations.
• Administrative Support: Handle various administrative tasks as required to support the clinic's daily activities.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Previous experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting is preferred but not required.
• Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.
• Empathy: Display empathy and compassion towards patients to create a supportive and caring atmosphere.
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Basic Computer Skills: Proficiency in basic computer applications.
