- Greeting and welcoming guests and visitors upon arrival and departure with professionalism and genuine hospitality
- Opening doors and assisting guests entering and exiting the property
- Escorting guests to rooms and explaining room features and amenities, including room keys, in-room safes, mini-bars, ice/vending locations, and laundry services
- Providing clear information about hotel amenities, services, hours of operation, and local attractions
- Transporting guest luggage to and from guest rooms and designated bell areas
- Assisting with luggage storage and retrieval
- Assisting guests in and out of vehicles, including loading and unloading luggage
- Providing directions and local area recommendations
- Arranging guest transportation (taxi, shuttle, limousine/sedan service) and documenting advance transportation requests as needed
- Communicating hotel parking and valet procedures clearly to guests
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management immediately
- Maintain awareness of undesirable persons on property and report concerns appropriately
- Maintain a clean, professional uniform and personal appearance at all times
- Protect the confidentiality of proprietary and guest information
- Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly to service requests, and assist individuals with disabilities
- Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members
- Answer telephones using proper etiquette
- Build positive working relationships across all departments
- Comply with all quality assurance and brand standards
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, including entire shifts
- Move at varying speeds to respond to guest and operational needs
- Lift, carry, push, or pull items up to 50 pounds independently and over 75 pounds with assistance
- Navigate stairs, service ramps, and uneven or slippery surfaces
- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, stooping, and pulling
- Read and visually verify information in various formats, including small print
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in customer service preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
- Awareness of safety protocols in parking environments.
