What are the responsibilities and job description for the Room Inspector position at Ascent Hospitality Management?
Responsibilities:
- Inspect and evaluate the cleanliness and maintenance of various areas, including hotel rooms, public spaces, and facilities.
- Ensure compliance with cleanliness and safety standards.
- Identify areas that require attention or improvement and communicate findings to appropriate personnel.
- Provide guidance and training to housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques and procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, and coordinate with suppliers for replenishment.
- Collaborate with other departments to address any issues or concerns related to cleanliness and maintenance.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of hospitality industry standards and practices.
- Experience in hotel or custodial management is preferred.
- Proficient in floor care techniques, including carpet cleaning, polishing, and waxing.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and tools.
- Attention to detail and ability to identify areas that require additional cleaning or maintenance.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with staff and guests.
