What You’ll Do
- Analyze the creditworthiness of commercial and consumer applicants and guarantors — reviewing loan applications, evaluating financial statements, calculating cash flows, identifying risks, and researching borrowers and industries.
- Partner with loan officers to analyze credit and prepare clear written and verbal credit analyses.
- Order, review, and analyze credit reports, appraisals, market valuations, environmental assessments, title insurance, and flood determinations.
- Coordinate with loan officers to keep loans moving efficiently and in compliance with regulations, from application through closing, including document preparation and review.
- Monitor and maintain loan files to ensure insurance, financials, and other required documentation stay current.
- Deliver exceptional service, guidance, and support to customers on bank products and services.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field — or equivalent work experience.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, set priorities, and meet deadlines while adapting to changing priorities.
- Self-motivated with sound judgment to assist in credit risk decisions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with close attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
