Responsibilities

The Organizational Effectiveness Performance Partner in Human Resources serves as a resource and partner to business unit leaders to support effective execution and adoption of key initiatives and assess and improve business unit performance related to talent, culture, quality, and experience. The OE Performance Partner collaborates with internal stakeholders, the National Organizational Capability Solutions team, and other Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to identify critical areas for OE initiatives. The OEPP develops and manages detailed plans that are relevant, valid, and appropriate for the intended audience and performs business unit assessments and reviews for strategic and tactical deliverables. In addition, the OEPP develops and implements strategies, interventions and tools for the business unit leader, to deliver on the Ascension Strategic Plan priorities and expected outcomes, partnering directly with cross functional teams, such as Patient and Family Experience, Quality and Safety.

 

Performs as both a member of the Organizational Effectiveness and the National Organizational Capability Solutions team, to provide services, solutions and support that drive a consumer centric culture, business outcomes and leader accountability for the business unit.

 

  • Collaborates with local and national HR OE and OCS teams to identify and partner with business unit leaders, to successfully implement national and local operational initiatives by using business analytics to identify and remove barriers to success.

  • Leads through influence to create meaningful change throughout the business unit and partners with leader, to implement standard leadership, culture, talent, organizational effectiveness, and &ldquoon-site&rdquo solutions that are aligned to measurable outcomes, including associate and consumer experience indicators.

  • Maintains a leader case load, assesses and recommends actions to address performance gaps for identified case load/business units and provides ongoing consultation with business unit leaders.  Provides ongoing education and resources for business unit leaders, helping to build business acumen.

  • Builds strong rapport and trust with the business unit leaders, National OCS team, stakeholders and cross functional teams to achieve the credibility to enable challenging discussions around performance.

  • Serves as a consultant to develop solutions for complex problems, requiring a high degree of acumen and understanding of the business.

  • Uses business analytics to forecast, strategize, and identify new opportunities to enhance the associate experience. 

  • Performs within the established processes and structures to deliver organizational performance outcomes on time, within budget and aligned to Ascension&rsquos Strategic Plan

  • Fosters a culture of appreciation, belongingness, inclusivity, diversity and equity to drive the associate experience.


Requirements

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.

Additional Preferences

Education:

  • Bachelor or Master's preferred.

Experience:

  • 5-7 years experience with strategic HR work preferred.
