Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Tour Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, managing details, and ensuring every traveler feels supported throughout their journey. The Tour Manager will oversee all aspects of customer service and tour operations—from assisting clients with inquiries to managing bookings, payments, and special requests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering phone calls, emails, and client inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Add and manage traveler information for each tour in our booking system.
- Coordinate and book flights for groups and individual travelers.
- Accommodate traveler requests such as rooming preferences, special assistance, or itinerary changes.
- Handle deposits, process payments, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Send invoices and receipts to travelers and ensure all payments are received and recorded on time.
- Deposit checks and manage related financial transactions.
- Communicate regularly with partners, vendors, and team members to ensure smooth tour operations.
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and general computer skills.
- Basic understanding of invoicing and bookkeeping procedures.
